CIS Factory default settings?

I have a 82 SC. I was trying to figure out why it started running rough.
Long story short the cold pressure of the WUR was way off. It is now set and fine but I screwed up the idle adjustment screw and 3mm adjustment screw before I figured this all out.
The pressures are all good now. It fires up on the first crank for about 3 seconds which I assume to be fuel from the cold start injector.
I either have it set way to rich or way to lean to even idle and I can't start it and work the air metering plate at the same time.
Is there a way to set up the idle screw and 3mm screw back to "factory setting" Ie turn them all the way one way or the other, so it will at least hold a rough idle so I can work from there
Thanks
Steve

Steve,

Give us the fuel pressure readings. What have you figured out? What happens after the 3 seconds? The idle screw setting will not prevent the engine from starting!!!!! The mixture screw would!!!! Why did you adjust the mixture screw in the first place? Give us more detail information and we'll get a better feel where to start looking.

Here is a tasty thread to read - Soukus says to back off the CO screw CCW one full turn - then start dialing in.

Thanks Guys
I just got someone to crank it over for me while I was able to hold up the plate and then adjust the mixture screw.
Everything is working great now (crossing my fingers it will stay that way.
I started adjusting the mixture because I had made my WUR adjustable and was trying to fine tune it but I did not use a nylon nut and the pressure would fluctuate.
Long story short I got an extra set of hands and everything is good.
Thanks
Steve
