cv bolts, 12 point or hex?
Was wondering which CV joint screws are better? 12 point or hex head. I had a horrible time removing the old ones(hex).....don't want that to happen again. I have the 6 - 8mm screws

the 6 point do strip out easier than the 12 point. new 12 points and a new 12 point tool would probably be the best way. vw uses them and i've hardly ever stripped one. cleaning the dirt out of them helps a lot, too.
