Motor rebuild complete - looking for dyno advice

Just finishing motor rebuild. Dam, those PMO carbs are a beauty to look at! Any advice on dyno time and do's/don'ts? Is it worth the money to reserve a day for this? Thanks for the info.

Looks purdy!

I read an article this week on Dynapack hub dynos, which are available in the US from Ultimate Garage - the website is www.dynapack.com.

I suggest it because (a) it is a NZ product :D (b) I will be getting my car run on it when the Motec is fully dialed in, in a month or so and (c) because it is apparently much much better, more accurate and mechanically sympathetic than a chassis dyno.

The negatives are that it requires a longer setup time and is not cost effective for a quick run.

Check the websites - it is pretty cool.... I will give a full report in a month or so when my car is run on it.

Do the Dyno !!
It is worth the money.Make sure you properly warm up your car before the run and try and find a shop that has done Porsches and knows what they are doing.Beautiful motor !!! Congratulations ! Be sure to let us know how you make out.
