rectangular 6x9 speaker grill
I have 6x9 rectangular cut out for my rear speakers... the speakers are shot. All the 6x9 speakers I've seen on the market today are oval in shape and will not cover the rectangular cutout.... anyone know of a 6x9 speaker with a rectangular grill or anyone selling rectangular grill, or any ideas?..... TIA.

Could you use your old rectangular grills over new oval speakers?

Try a search on ebay. A while back I needed some 4x6 grills and found them there.

I have speakers "like" the Polks. They are called "Audia" Same configuration, but these I have are old. Pre-1990 at least. I replaced the shredded woofers with Boston Acoustics units 13 years ago and they sound nice. With newer technology this setup should work great for you.
I think Infiniti makes a variant of these. I'll see if I can find the post from earlier this year. Here it is - see post 12 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/574062-audio-experts-village-idiot-needs-help.html |
this could be easily modified and work very well.
