Recaro LSC

Recaro LSC (KBA 90239), anyone use/have these seats. I was told 74-83 sliders work on them, can anyone confirm? I know there's a few Recaro experts out there.

Thanks

They will fit on 74+ sliders. Depending on your stature, you may wish to use a 1" spacer. Very comfortable.

The Recaro LS foam ring is available from Volkswagen for MK2 Golf. They are inexpensive, buy a few because they wear out every couple of years Iíve noticed.

I have a set of Recaro SE's that have been reupholstered a few years ago and need to be re-done again. The release latch on both seats does not work so I have to use the scroll any time I need to get in the back. thoughts on what might be the issue? I can't lift the tab up at all. It's like it's locked in place. The scroll also shutters a little when adjusting the seat back.

I have the LS seats in my Ď69 911. They required a Recaro seat adapter.

FWIW, Recaros donít have a history of changing their seat attachment bolt pattern.

Track down an old adv for these seat adapters and see if it also covers your MY 911. Alternately, research if your late seats fit in an early chassis. By cross-referencing, youíll have a better idea of what you need to make it work.

The answer is buried in the pelican archives or in the Internet. Try various search terms for the correct answer.
