Porsche Crest Wires to 16mm Master Cylinder switch

Hello,

I've 16mm Master Cylinder on my '68-912 and noticed that switch on MC has 1 contact only, while 2 wires coming from the harness.

Does anyone knows how to hookup second wire, please see arrows on the pic, (sorry for not clear pic, I will try to retake it).

Thank you in advance.
-Youri

The 2 wires go to the 2 prong switch that the original master cylinder had. You have the single wire switch now that does not require the ground wire. I did however try using the 2 prong wire switch in my updated master cylinder and it made the brake warning light continually flash. So do not waste your money on the 2 prong switch if your m\c came the single one.

Thank you kwikt,

2 more questions:

You were saying that just ignore the 2nd ground wire?

So, single wire switch just grounds wire that connects to it when pressure going low?

Thank you so much !!!

-Youri.
PS: uploading better pic as promised:

Yes ignore the 2nd wire. Only 1 should be ground...usually solid brown with no stripes. Now if you need to reset the warning light switch...... press the rubber button on the single pole switch at the master cylinder.

Thank you kwikt 911.

one more question, I've fund this wiring diagram for 1965 - 911, but I do not see this switch on it. I've read somewhere that "Handbrake control light - #37" would be together with this switch.

Do you have a better wiring diagram?

Thank you in advance.
