Torque setting for lug nuts?
What are the torque settings of lug nuts? I did a search and found lots of interesting info, but none had the torque settings. This is for 16X7 and 16X8 Fuchs wheels.

94 ft/ lbs
Info is in the owners manual.
Where's the pic of that Lugnut torque T-shirt when you need it?
I just round it off at 90 ft.lbs... As you're probably aware it's better to crisscross the tightening patten, rather than just tighten in a CW or CCW pattern. A dab of anti seize is also recommended.

+1 = 94
Thanks guys...I appreciate it.
@intakeexhaust: don't have the manual yet; the car is arriving tomorrow from PA. |
I was under the impression that it's 96ft-lbs or 130Nm for all Porsches (aside from center-locks).
92-94 lbs-ft since 1967,...:)
And those torque specs assume that the threads are lubricated, as Mitch suggested.
95.9 ft lbs based on 130 Nm
and/or 94 ft lbs based on 13 kpm SC Tech Spec book. |
threads AND convex face of the lug nut should be lubricated with a thing smear on anti-sieze - P AG also specs a particular one...
