Calling all Brooklynites!
Hello all, I'm trying to get a little BKLYN meet up in Dumbo, maybe late July/early august. I have a friend who's a budding(free of charge) photographer and he could get some great shots down there. Looking to do a early evening. This isn't just limited to Brooklyn folks...if your in the tri-state and want to join in the fun, the more the merrier.

DUMBO is a fun and picturesque 'hood.
Get some Pizza at Grimaldi's and check out the beautiful Waterfront Parks, Good Ice Cream near the Ferry Dock. Plenty of bars and shops to visit as well. Have Fun! I used to live in BK, but I'm in Japan now.

My son suggested we take a spin through DUMBO last night. The line of tourists outside Grimaldi's was all the way down the block. Pedro's at Jay and Front on the other hand had a nice crowd of locals sitting at tables outside. Okay, I confess, there were some hotties. Anyway, I seem to be available either day. I suggest you post this on Rennlist as well. Thank you for stting it up.

a better meet would be at my place for food at dinner time. I can park 10 911s off street safely and have a big patio-tables-chairs to hang at. At 9:30 pm the herd takes a ride to Meadowbrook Pky to N State Pky east to to Sagikos then south to Ocean Pky back to LB. Total ride 1hr 12min
This has to be done during a workday when you have late commuters zipping around as part of the culture. Bring good tires and radar detector. otherwise....... have fun

As my friends and I have all "grown up" and are married with kids now, we have found making plans to get together when everybody is available is near impossible. We have taken to a new system of just setting up a date/time/place and whoever makes it, makes it. And whoever can't, see you at next months outing.
I'd recommend you do the same here.

Ok, did some scouting this hot evening and the final location will be the corner of Adams st. and water st. Here are some quick iPhone pics as a teaser, the pics were taken around 9pm, so if we all get there by 7:30 we should have plenty of time for some nice pics...im also forewarning everyone that the streets are cobblestone.
