Coil Mounting Plate Question
I seem to have misplaced the mounting plate for the coil. Do I need it, or can I just mount the coil to the too studs on the fan? I'm not really sure what purpose the plate serves.
The PET shows it's used when the car has AC. I'm not sure why.

If I recall the mouting plate moves it so it doesnt hit the AC condensor. Could be incorrect but that was my expereince before I moved it where the CDI used to be... Try it and see...
