1977 911 interior bolster removals

I need to remove the bolsters just in side the sealing edge of the door. I can't see how they are removed. Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.

What is a bolster? Front of door? On floor? Back interior piece?

just inside the door against the door seal at the rear of each door. It starts under the sill plate and comes up the side of the door opening.

If you're talking about the vinyl (maybe leather on some cars), it's glued in, with some foam behind it. If you pull out part of the door seal you should be able to pull it up...and keep pulling. The other side should be glued just in front of the seat belt winder/spool.
