A couple of winter storage questions.

- I have an '86 Carrera 3.2. If I spray fogging oil into the air intake (air filter removed obviously), will it cause any problems with the fuel injectors?

- I got the car in August and changed the oil at that point with M1 15W-50. It's been driven 1000 miles since. Should I change the oil again before putting it up for the winter?

Thanks!

Your oil will be fine over the winter. I would change it before you begin driving the car next year.

I wouldn't put oil into the intake. You really don't need to do that.

Fill the fuel tank and add a can of SeaFoam or Stabil to the fuel. I would run it for a few miles so that you get the mixture throughout the system.

Air the tires up to about 50lbs and put it away.

If you decide to start it, plan on driving it to ge it up to temp. You will burn off any condensation will help prevent problems.

Stabil yes, Seafoam no......Seafoam is a cleaner, a very abrasive one.

Your oil is fine. Dont spray anything. Add Stabil marine ethanol treatment then top off the tank and run the car to get it into the system. Use a trickle charger like "battery tender jr". Make sure the the car is clean inside and out. I like a good car cover and put a few mouse traps under your car .... Your done. I winterize every year for a lot of toys over the last 25 years.

Joe Bob don't want to start something but I used stabil for years both in Porsche & boat. Started seafoam three years ago and in my opinion I like it better. It also is a gas stabilizer

I use SeaFoam in all of my cars and my outdoor equipment. I have had no problems whatsoever.

To the OP, use whatever you wish as long as you use some sort of stabilizer in the fuel.
