Chin spoiler repair?
G'day all,
I spend way to much time reading other peoples posts, so I thought it was time to make one of my own! I have some bite marks in my rubber chin spoiler (it may have being a curb) that I would like to try and repair rather than replace. The bottom edge is a little ruffed up with a couple of small chunks missing. Sorry no pics just yet but I'm sure most will know what I mean.

Check out this thread
front spoiler repair in post 15 I explained my solution. I filled it in slowly with Gorilla Glue (because it expands and turns hard). Once the "bite marks" were filled in, I shaved down the expanded glue so everything was smooth and painted it. It took a few days, because I had to let the glue harden between layers.

Excuse the horrible Microsoft Paint example, but it's the best I could do in 3 minutes.

Thanks Dave
How has this repair held up? Can you use any paint or do I need something that will stick to rubber/glue? Nice garage by the way!

It has held up great for about one year so far. I just spray painted with flat or satin black paint (can't remember). I'd take a picture, but it is put away until next spring about 45 minutes away. Thanks for the garage compliment. As you can tell, I'm a little partial to black.
