Looking for a part
Does anyone know where I can find part number 17 in this diagram? http://pelicanparts.com/911/911_parts/1974-75/8-6.jpg
It looks like a typical roll pin, but I can't seem to find the right diameter. Thanks. |

Having searched wrecking yards for the last year and a half on my '77 Carrera 3.0 project, I can honestly say I have seen many variations on the door pin. Some are roll pins, some are clevis pins. I a pinch, a 6mm bolt will work. But if you are looking for original, try 20th Street Auto in Phoenix. Their add is in all the mags including Pano. Larry there is a great resource.
