Weber air filters on Zeniths

In my ongoing saga of trying to find a cheap means of getting more power from my 2.2 T, I was wondering if a Weber K&N air filter kit will fit on Zenirhs? Would this be better than std centre type filter

i've done this exact thing. you may run into a problem figuring out where the oil tank breather hose goes if you remove the stock air cleaner housing... i have a solution. i have pics that i'm gonna post in a day or so depicting a solution my dad and i came up with. stay tuned.

oh, and to answer your question... it's a GREAT upgrade and the kit i used bolted up perfectly. it sounds and looks 10X better. i'd recommend doing a search of this forum under 'zenith' 'k&n' or 'air cleaner.' i asked this question a while back and there were some great responses.

Thanks Raymond,

My oil breather pipe feeds into a catch tank which is vented into the atmosphere through a little K&N filter - there aint no 'smog law' things in Africa!
