Brake Pedal Seems to Require More Pressure
I just put the car back together, after a few weeks of engine out maintenance. Now I think the brake pedal requires more pressure to stop than before. I think I know this car, but am I just being wimpy? Or did I forget to hook up something? I didn't even touch the brakes, but could I have missed a vacuum line? Suggestions?

you probably attached the brake booster vacuum hose by #3 cylinder, right? that hose can get cracks in it down past the transmission, to where it attaches to a tube from the tunnel, so get under there with a flashlight for starters.

Did you buy/adopt a cat?
This can cause a loss of manliness and make things seem harder.
