Installing 964/993 Brake switch in Carrera?
Anyone done this for faster brake light response vs. the standard setup?

No, but I installed a regular brake switch onto the brake booster support housing, inside the front trunk. Remove the top plastic plug and you'll see the perfect place to put a normally-open switch.
Totally agree with this or any mod that removes the brake pressure switch - that thing was going to get me killed in stop and go traffic on the highway (where the brake pressure is not sufficent to light the brake lights). hope this helps, Chuck.H '89 TurboLookTarga, 327k miles |

can you post a pic? which switch did you use? what hot wire are you using?
