Sorry, this may be a stupid clutch pedal question

Being a newbie to the Porsche World, please excuse me if this offends anyone with its possible stupidness. I just got my Porsche 2 weeks ago, and I love driving it, but the one thing that is taking me a while to get used to is how close I had to move my seat to the steering wheel to depress the clutch pedal fully; I'm only 5'7". I moved the seatback at more of an angle than I'd like, but it is what it is.
My question is this; is there an adjustable clutch pedal where it can be moved mote towards the driver and still function properly without messing up the clutch itself. I've seen adjustable gas pedals; anything equivalent for clutch pedals? Any help is much appreciated.
BTW, I love how helpful everyone is on this board, the knowledge sharing is incredible.

I think your trouser inseam is a better indicator. Mine is 32" and I like the seat about half way between the range on my 81 with standard seats - no sport bolsters. I can just reach the floor with the seat all the way back in the track and my knee bent a little but it is not a good feel. With the seat all the way up I can't get my left knee to clear the knee pad on the dash.

Do you have the stock standard seats?

May this just be a simple acclimation to driving the 911? I like the seat back up more than back and the windshield is pretty much in my face - 16" from the tip of my nose measured parallel to the ground.

As to pedal adjustment - there has to be something out there with all the racer heel / toe adjustable pedal sets.

30 inch inseam and I sit right on top of the wheel. Although I would do so regardless of my inseam. It is just a habit.

Mine is also 30" inseam. Stock standard seats on the car.

Hopefully you don't do this in a modern car. Sitting too close to the wheel can be dangerous in an air-bag equipped car.

30" inseam here also. I adjust the seat so my wrist will rest on the top of the steering wheel. No problem with my feet reaching the pedals.

I have my seat pretty close as well. I have almost no recline to the back, either. I have found that, for me, this is the best position.

I'm only 5'7" with short T-Rex arms so it has been a challenge to find the right position. I modified my shift lever so my hand almost falls to it fromthe steering wheel. It's not as cool as a Hargett or WEVO but it works for me.

Vic Elford has some great tips on seat/steering wheel position in his book "High Performance Driving".

I take driving a vehicle probably too seriously but I consider myself a safe, attentive driver who, unlike a lot of the clods out there, is aware of the traffic/obstacles around me.
