Thank you SoCal!!!
I've been in San Diego for the last 8 days for a work related project. During those days, I've done A LOT of driving the area. I have seen about 15-20 Porsches, most older 911s. Since I own a '85 Targa, I've really liked it and can't wait to get back home to my baby.
I've always heard about you Cali 911 owners and now I believe it. You love them and they are everywhere. Thank you!

Cool ! But I am surprised you only saw 15 - 20 in 8 days. Maybe the chilly, rainy weather is keeping a lot of them in the garage.

No kidding - that is more like an hour depending on where in SoCal you are.
Glad the time in SD was good for you. |

+1 on being surprised about seeing that few in a span of 8 days. I've seen a couple of '80s cars in the past few days, but most have been from around 2000 & up. Don't know what your definition of "older 911s" is. Not too many years ago you could see lots & lots of '80s cars, quite a few '70s cars, and even a few 365s on the road, but I don't see many at all now. There is a guy who lives not far from me who has a '65 356 I enjoy seeing since he drives it often. Too bad he's a turd head.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I was working. lol It has been crummy here in SD weather wise. But 15-20 "older", meaning 80s to me, and one SC I saw tonight that is pre 70, is much more than I'm used to in NM, my home state.
So I have a free day tomorrow before I fly out Tuesday morning. I'd love to pick up some local Porsche type t-shirts before I head out. Is there such a thing here and where is the best place to get some. I thought about hitting Pioneer Centres up north to see what goodies they have and take a few tourist photos. Is it worth my time from Liberty Pointe?

Did you see a white turbo look? That would be me
![]() Depending on which way I choose to drive to work, I can see up to 4 or 5 old P-cars during the trip.....a trip of less than one mile. There are quite a few here
