Nice drive

Had a nice run through the Piney Woods of East Texas today. Took the wife and made a run up to Jefferson Tx. Did a little antiquing, had some lunch and about 150 miles of driving fun. Nothing like spending the day with your two favorite girls.

I'm jealous! I spent all day in the office looking out the windows thinking about how I'd rather be driving my car then sitting behind my desk...

Happy motoring.

Hey, what a coincidence!!! I drove about 150 miles too today.

Well, except I was driving my very nimble 3/4 ton pickup.

And my wife wasn't with me.

Oh, and I was working.

And one last thing: it was sort of cold and cloudy out.

Other than that though, it seems like we both had a fun day of driving. -- Curt

Hi Robert, I live in Tyler, Tx. My wife and I love to go over to Jefferson and look around. It's a nice little East Texas town with some pretty good antique shops. Of course you can't haul too much back home in the 911.

Grrr... the Porsche is in the shop, I'll have to take the Audi.

When I was younger I thought it'd be cool to say that. Now I understand what they meant

I just got snagged by the boss, who walked in while I was surfing this BBS and dreaming about driving my 911 on such a beatiful Friday. My punishment - I get to leave at 2:00 instead of 6:00 today. I should have plenty of nice weather left for a spirited drive along my favorite Fairfax Co. back road.

Smile Cool!!

That is so cool!! It made me think of the trip my husband and I took last fall up to Lutsen in Northern MN. We took our (new) 1987 930 (which we only had for a few months) for a spring get away from the city to see the fall colors. It was beautiful!! We also took a drive along Hwy 1 up to Ely. It is known for its "winds, turns, and rolling type roads." We took it pretty easy, took pictures out of the sunroof, enjoyed the ride and the fall colors...it was a BLAST! There were other cars behind us that could have gone around us but they didn't. We think they knew how much fun we were having and kind of joined along. The Porsche comes out of storage new week and I cannot wait. We really missed it all winter and cannot wait for a great summer!!
