Installing new 16" Fuchs wheels?

I am currently running stock 15" Fuchs on my '83 SC. I dont remember the stock wheel widths. I have the opportunity to buy some reconditioned 16" Fuchs, 16"X9" and 16"X7". Will these fit my SC? Will they eliminate the need for spacers? Anybody have these wheels on an SC? What do you think? Thanks!SmileWavy

Sure, they'll fit...

especially if you choose a conservative tire size. 225F and 245R on 7 & 9 x 16" rims is a very common upgrade for the SC. No spacers necessary.

They'll fit right on there. No spacers needed. 7's with 225's will rub fender so you should put 205's on there or roll/shave fender lips. Sometimes 205's rub, but very rarely from what i've read.
