I would also like to hear this -

I need new heat exchangers and a muffler, so I'm going to go to 1974 setup, 2 in 1 out. The Bursch unit seems to be real good value for money, but so far I havnt found any clips of a 2 in 1 out on a 3.2.

Cool, thanks. Do you think the video conveys the sound reasonably well?

Ed's car sounds real nice.

Ed, are there any performance mods from stock? Primarily compression/intake.

Some of the stock SC's I hear in these types of drive-by videos sound a little hollow at the higher rpm's. Also, I put a completely gutted 3.2 muffle on my 81 and it sounded great 2-5krpm but it just would not carry the note yours does at the top end. Sounded boy-racer and I put the original muffle back on.

kinein - are you picking up the lack of happy tone at the higher rpms in the car you heard?

well the car i heard in person sounded much different, especially at the higher tones but with his 2 stage turbo chip his throttle response made a difference. it was to the point it made me go out and buy the same setup. i currently have a borla turbo exhaust on my ride with hollowed out cat.

The engine is a stock 1986, with a freshly rebuilt top end. It sounded great from the drivers seat, but my wife in the passenger seat said it was a little loud. Sound in the video is pretty accurate. The SSI's and Bursch muffler were for my 1973 2.4, so it may have restricted the top end a bit, but I couldn't tell. It ran great and pulled really strong.

Stock chip. From my research on it's serial number, it is also was one of the lowest performing of the stock chips.

I'm not a techie but I think there's a difference specially higher RPM as I've experienced it before and after installing my SW chip.

Also based on exerience videos don't actually represent actual. Bought my GHL muffler based on video only to get rid of it after a month.
