I have a 1999 911 Carrera Cab and want to lift both front wheels off the ground and then do the same for the back wheels. I have a large floor jack that will not fit under the car so I plan to drive it up on a couple of 2x6s for clearance. Can I jack up the car on one point in the front and one point in the back or do I need to do each wheel separately and where?

putting this thread in the 996 forum would help you better
did you look in your owners manual for the jacking points of your car?...my manual for my 84 has a picture of safe jacking points

I have wondered if an easy solution for the rear would be to weld on some lifting plates positioned across the seams in the rear corner of the floor pan
That thoughts ? |
