From Waynes book 1977 Carrera. Is it a type 930/02?

I cant see the type number on the case. How else can I identify the type?

The engine number you found is on the vertical leg of the alternator stand. Look down from there to the horizontal part of the case, just to the right of the stand and see if you see the stamped type number. For a 77 Carrera, my source shows a 911/48 for a coupe.
