Badge holes the same?
I want to change the engine lid/spoiler on my '83 SC to a no tail look so I'm looking for a lid. I'm told the lids are the same for '74 - '89 but am wondering if the badge hole size and location are the same throughout the years.

not for all of those years.
But 78 to 89 will work for you. 78-83 are all SC and will of course work. 84-89 Carreras use a stick on emblem, so there are no holes at all. You could drill it, or use convert your SC badge to use double sided sticky to attach. |

just the answer I was looking for.
I'm probably not going to find the mint black lid that I've been looking for so I'll most likely be painting something but I'd rather not be filling or drilling. Thanks very much. |
