Tips on removing these mouldings?

G'day all, I need to remove the chrome mouldings which go along side the targa bar & rear screen rubber on my '74 Targa.

Any tips for removing these without breaking them?

Regards, Col.

Bugger!

I didn't want to have to go to that extreme.

Thankyou.

coolngroovy, why are you removing the mouldings? Are you refinnishing a stainless roll bar or a black roll bar?

There are a couple of small spots of cancer around the base of the bar.

I just wanted to remove them so the painter can do his thing.

It's only surface rust.

I hope the bodyshop guy can work around it.

I'm not real keen on pulling the rear screen.
