Does anyone happen to have any spare black (well faded black, really) carpet pieces from a pre '74 911? Later will do as well.
My car, a '73 T Targa, has damaged inner sill carpets, i.e, the piece from rear seat all the way along the inner sill to the bottom of the A post, on both sides. Mine is cracked and heat/water ingress damaged, but the rest of the carpets are fine. I like the faded, original look of them and don't want to replace the lot. The interior is black, and the carpets are faded black, with age, I guess. Can take photos too. I'll check Ebay and put a WTB on Pelican too. Anyone got some bits of old carpets, or a breaker car, let me know.... ![]() Cheers. |

Anthony, you might try EASY, in Emeryville, CA. They are the R gruppe hang-out, one of the better Porsche wrecked-em yards on the west coast. Shipping on carpeting souldn't be so bad. Anyway, their phone: 510-653-EASY...and e mail is :
easypor@aol.com I'd done biz with them in the past, was quite pleased with the results. Parts as described, timely delivery. Yes, a blatent plug...but when someone does me well, I don't mind giving a plug. |

I can vouch for EASY as well - I live right over the hill. Ask for Spencer - they'll do you right.
