911 service
Hi all,
Recently moved to Brandon with a 1984 911 Targa, I am looking for a reliable local garage to do the regular maintenance and also wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a place that can redo the targa seals etc? When down here years ago I had used Dave Whites but found the service hugely over priced given the places I had used with amazing success for years - if anyone still uses vortex and wants a place in largo that will blow it away and be way way way cheaper let me now - it is just way too far for me these days Cheers |

Dan Pechtel is in NJ and he sells the seal you need. If you do not use Dan, make sure you get seals that are correctly sized for your car. Buying new ones from Porsche "for your car" will result in a fat seal that must be trimmed back. You do not want to do this yourself. Buy one made to fit.
Dan will do a complete tear down and refurbish, headliner, skin, webbing, worn bushings, broken pins, frame painting etc. This does not include the cost of the front seal. http://www.carsinc-nj.com/ |
