I've never seen one of those. Thanks for posting. That must be rare.

Interesting to see half of a universal joint at the front.

EDIT: The clutch release arm in the first photo looks like it's from a pre SC but that doesn't necessarily date it accurately.
I'm sure someone will chime in with more info.

Interesting. I'm going to have to claim ignorance on this one. Maybe Jon Bunin or Brady will be abel to help.

I don't know what that is, but it is REALLY cool! On the top of the bell housing, I can see something - like a little coverplate? The 3.2 engine has a notch there on the 915 for two sensors. Well, at least on a production car - who knows with this.

WOW, that's a big load on the pinion shaft. They must have modified the 5th gear synchro hub and pinion flange nut to connect that U-Joint coming out. Also must have added another bearing in there some how.

I suspect there is one in that big snout in the new tailcone casting. I have no idea who Boyer is and a quick google search doesn't reveal anything.

Defintely not for a 3.2l Carrera engine without the DME cutout. It's mag case and uses the early 72-73 press in mainshaft seal snout. But there also doesn't seem to be a mechanical speedo on the new tailcone either. It's a strange one.

The front part is missing , and for sure a pain to find .

Boyer was the man who had modified the 915 gearbox with customs parts , specilally fabricated for him.

Used in rallye-raid , rallye-cross .........by private teams.
