O-ring size on 1973 oil tank

Hi,

Does anyone out there know the size of the o-ring fitted between the oil tank and the oil filter holder on a 1973 Porsche 911?

I am putting in a fresh tank, and dont want to re-use the old o-ring.

Also, how do I clean the oil filter holder? Looks to be fairly complex, not that east to disassemble....

Thanks,

Johan

It's on the pelican catalog. Something like "oil filter console to oil tank".

Yes, I know. Unfortunately I cant justify shipping a $1.50 part to Europe. And, I need it today, not in two weeks.

Anyone else who know the size?

Thanks,

Johan

You can get the the Porsche part number from this site and get one from the dealer in Europe. The thickness has to be the right size too because the crevice in the oil filter console is very deep. I just replaced mine last month.
