What is the part and what does it do? I am removing everything from my dash as the 911 is being prepped to get a full cage put in and when I was removing the radio there was this silver box with some wires coming out of it that I had to remove. I was just wondering if anyone knew what this thing does, can I remove it? I just put it back for now and never unplugged it since I have no clue what it is and can't find out any info. Here is a pic of the part in question http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...ull/image4.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...ull/image5.jpg |

That looks like a factory item to me. What year 911? |

That looks like the ECU for the cruise control. |

It is factory, It goes into the factory loom and the wires trace to behind the pedals. the 911 is an 87 |
