Does any one sell just a dead pedal???
My carpets are mint and light gray in color. I really would like to have a dead pedal to rest my foot on. I don't want/need to replace my other pedal .

You could just make one. I used cardboard as a template and build it out of aluminum (relatively easy to bend into shape). cover in carpet and insert a peice of rubber I got from a local shoe repair. I then cut the floormat and restitched the piping back on. I did this 7 years ago and has worked perfectly.

Nice work Tom.
Mystro I just bought the Factory Repro from Pelican. Haven't installed it yey, but it's a good looking part. Powder coated black with a rubber pad like the pad on Tom's custom pedal. There are also a couple of threads on how to install. Pelican Parts - Factory Repro Dead Pedal ![]()

I have the factory re-pop RSR style footrest. It's a very nice piece, but you will probably find that the late plastic throttle pedal on your '88 is on a different plane. One leg short, one leg long. My sources say that the late throttle pedal is fallout from the "Audi unintended acceleration" 60-Minutes hoax. I wound up installing a Rennline adjustable throttle pedal to bring everything into alignment.
The good news is that I can now drive for five hours straight (love that big tank) without back pain.
