No it didn't. I sourced that. It's a lightweight unit but I could use the one from the 911s engine if it was determined to have any fault which I doubt but what do I know till I can see better?

The clutch and flywheel both fit the 911 not 930. But once the flywheel is bolted on that crank case, it accepts the smaller unit. That crankcase is similar to the 2.7 and is the same as the 3.0 carrera. So to clarify, my clutch is the exact same as before with the same 915/61 and new flywheel made to fit the 74-77 2.7 engine family of crank. Maybe even earlier. But it only fits the early 6 bolt cranks which I believe to encompass the 72-77 cars including the turbo. The turbo used a 240mm flywheel and clutch but still has the 6 bolt crank. Am I wrong? I felt pretty confident that I have the right setup for the swap.

Your probably right. I never gave much thought to diameter, but I do know the pressure plate and flywheel are thicker on the turbo, and the bell housing is deeper to accommodate it. Still though, it looks like the fork might be too close to the pressure plate.

Well, didn't mess with that tonight, instead I adjusted the mixture and timing and made it run real nice. Sounds amazing I must say. Wish I could drive it

Well, the clutch was fine, I removed the engine, split the trans and engine to reveal a really nice brand new power clutch and pressure plate, no supprise there as I put it there. replaced the engine and adjusted the clutch, turns out thats all i had to do. Great, I could have been driving it for two weeks.

It only cost time and you probably shave some from your previous engine drop

Bonne année

I was reluctant to do an engine drop before the swap but it's really a no brainer. Hardest part is getting the bumper off and the axles undone.

I did mine with the bumper on as I had no height problem with a lift but it was a bit tight when you factor the angle to get the 915 shaft out of the tunnel...

Help a buddy doing his last week (930 with a 915) and with the bumper it was no problem at all even with all the extra parts on the 930,
