are mirrors from 944 the same as an 1984 Carrera
Are the mirrors from an 944 the same as an 1984 Carrera? please advise how to remove them, thanks.

The base is different. There is an allen head bolt that is on the top side of the base. May have a plastic plug in it. Loosen that and the assembly comes off.

i have seen them today on a yard and could not take them off, i need them for my 1984 Carrera project can i make them fit? thanks

You can buy a pair for a 911 much cheaper than buying the 944 mirrors and then finding the 911 bases. I can probably put together a pair for $80.
