HELP! Linkage

Hey everyone,
I really need help with my car's linkage. I have a 1967 912 and I've replaced every single piece of linkage, bushing, and bellcrank on the car... and the linkage problem is as bad if not worse than before. It's still binding in the exact same spot: right as the accelerator rod exits the tunnel by the accel lever. In order to attach the rod to the lever it has to bend to the left and scrape the tunnel, it's almost as if the whole pedal cluster is too far to the left, but I don't see how that's possible.

I don't want to bend the new rod to get it to attach to the lever and cause more binding or maybe even ruin it, but that seems to be the only way to get them to attach to each other.

I still think if I could get more than just 1 guide tube in, then that would help, can anyone tell me how to get that first (closest to pedal) guide tube in? Or the middle one even, if anyone knows where it is... it's not at the handbrake.

If anyone can help or offer any advice I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Andrew
