Question about ordering parts & using Pelican Web Certificates

I have a web certificate that's good for $10 off on $100 or more. I'd prefer to have 10% off since I need to spend about $700

Does anyone know if I can use the web certificate more than once as I could easily place 5 or 6 orders.

Of course, if anyone has an unused certificate that's even more of a discount, I'd glady take it.

One tme use only.

My experience has been that as soon as I use a web certificate they issue another one to take its place. My problem is I can't afford to use them fast enough before they expire. It seems they are good for about 30 days. If you are planning to make multiple orders you may find that you are issued a continuing stream of discount certificates.

I have to no avail asked Pelican to not have an expiration date on coupons. We do this with our company and we are VERY successful. People do not like it when they go to use a coupon and it is expired. We LOVE it when someone uses a really old coupon. Great feeling

Agree about the expiration date. I've let several expire simply because I wasn't ready to order at that moment.

My biggest problem is $10 off on a $700 purchase is about a 1.4% discount. I'm inclined to buy from Paragon and at least get out of the sales tax.

I like Pelican and like supporting them - hopefully, someone in the company reads these type of posts and makes adjustments to their policy.

If you don't need all the stuff at once, do an order and wait for the next Certificate to come in. They came in like clock work :D

Yes, big dilemma especially when you order a expensive part (BTDT) but I save so much money because of this bulletin that it is a small concession to make. You can not beat PP for their customer service and that is worth a lot when something happened.

Some of the Appreciation certificate are a percentage.

Call them. Tell them the situation and I'm sure they will take care of you. They have very good customer service.

BTW...I had pitched an idea to Wayne last summer for some to type of buyers reward club. Maybe for a membership fee you save on shipping and a percentage of the purchase price for the year. Or something like that. Never heard back though .

I do coupons continually in my business, there has to be an expiration date.. I've never seen one anywhere without one. Maybe they could be extended, in not sure the timeframe pelican gives you. Tim

+1

And a low $ threshold for free shipping on most items.

Lots more to value than just sales price . . .

I don't care much for the web certificates that provide fridge magnets or coffee cups,..WTF? I appreciate the gesture (of course),...but I relish the ones that save me REAL money...

Definately a one time shot on the W/Certificate.

BEST!

Doyle
