I hate to keep asking but, I need the Porsche wiring diagram for the female 14pin connector for my 80SC, (in the engine compartment). Can anyone help me?

Bob:

I can fax the flow chart for the 78 SC which should be the same as yours, as the manual then jumps to 82.

If this is what you need, send me a PM (private message) with the fax number.

Here's what your looking for. Roland got it out of the library in Germany for me.

This is for a 75, but my 77 3.0 matched it exactly. Hope this helps.

T 14 2,7 ( 74 )

1 yellow / starter 50
2 green or brown / only used with sportomatic runs behind the instrument for the overheat idiot light
3 green - black / Oiltemperature Instrument
4 green - red / Oiltpressure Instrument
5 green - yellow ( depends on year ) / from ign. to backuplightswitch
6 gray - black ( depends on year ) / backuplightswitch to lights
7
8 green or brown ??? sportomatic both this & 2 current track 126 & 127
9 green-black / Oil Pressure idiot light
10 red-white / WUR
11 blue / alternator control light 61 ( or D+ )
12 black-purple / Heater Blower Relay
13
14 red / source from alternator 30 or B+

THIS EDITED TO MATCH 78 SC

Bob:

Cary may be right, but his pin notations do not exactly match the flow chart from the factory manual for the 3.0 78 SC.

Wow Cary!

I have been scratching my head for the past 2 days trying to figure out why I have a green wire behind the dash not hooked to anything. Based on your information sounds like the green isn't used after all.
A very good thing because I couldn't find what wasn't working...

What a stroke of luck. Thanks a bunch.

Cary might be wrong ........... This is all I had to check the wiring conversion from the 3.0 to 3.2. But like Marc I now have the Factory Manuals. It's real close. But not 100 %. Marc thanks for wakeing my up. I hadn't seen the PIN locations before.

I'm going back up an edit my post.

Hello

since 78 the wireloomend on the enginebay was changed and the alternators had build in regulators. But the posts where still used or free for the Turbo engine wireloom.

The 82 SC wireshematic from Pelican techsite will match.

The green wire was used for the sportomatic overheat idiot light.

Those sportos where build up to 1983 on very special request.

The wire is usefull if you run a temporary thing to the enginebay or for the AC compressor switch.

Grüsse

Roland, how are you ?

I'll missed the 12 / 13 difference. I'll go up and fix it.
There is no brown. And the heater blower is T-14-#12.
