will a 2.0 carb airbox fit on a longer stroke 2.4 with carbs?

Will the stock carb airbox from a 2.0 fit on the longer stroke 2.4, or are the cylinders longer thus putting the heads further apart? Has any one checked this?
Thanks, Russ

The heads are spaced no further apart in a 2.4 then they are in a 2.0 -- at least not because of the stroke change. When Porsche increased the stroke, they shortened the conn-rods to keep the deck height the same. The ring sealing system between the heads and the cylinder was changed, but I doubt you will see it in the spacing of the intakes.

I have a 2.0L and a 2.2L sitting in my garage. I measured the spacing across the intakes last night and as John said they are exectly the same.
