speedometer plug location
 

I need help and I have used the search. I swapped my engine but kept the 915 in my 77 911 and can't find where the speedometer sensor wire plugs into the car. Don't know if it's in the engine compartment, down by the end of the trans....just can't find it or any pics of it. It's been a few monthys since I removed the old engine. Please help me please please? Thanks, BA

It should be under the shift coupler access cover.

It connects by the shift coupler. Remove the cover on the floor by the back seats.
