Anyone install a Gentex rearview mirror?

Has anyone installed a Gentex rearview mirror in their 911? I am looking at either the 50-GENK40A or 50-GENK41A for my '83 coupe to get auto-dim and HomeLink buttons. The 40A is described as having a Mito harness and the 41A is described as having a Gentek harness. I can't seem to figure out the difference between the two. Did it come with everything in the box, or did you need other parts? Amazon has several different packages available. Some say "not recommended for Porsche" and I'm trying to figure out why. Maybe they are assuming compatibility with newer models?
