Angry Please Help!

Ok so here goes , I own a 1980 SC updated to an 89 Slantnose, this winter i redid the whole car front to back, 3.6 transplant , and i even got a 993 cab tob frame with the windshield posts and got the body shop to cut my old top out to adapted the new 993 top,

So on Halloween someone threw a pumkin thru my back window, i took my car to a place in Toronto Ontario, named Enco Auto Trim, insurance paid to replace the top, So i go to pick up my car and the latches arent locking the top down , Got in to a huge fight with this joker stating my problem , he tells me thats how the car was when i took it there ,(which is pure bull****) i got so fed up that i took my car outta there so he wouldnt sabatage it or something , after fighting with my insurance company they want me to take it somewhere else and they will cover the bill, can anyone tell me why the top wont latch properly, or what they could have done to it? My car is a manual top cause i didnt want it power.
Thank you guys

If they recovered the top then its probably just an adjustment issue. The new top is tight, won't allow the latches to full mate-up correct?

There should be an adjustment point on each side just behind the interior qtr panel trim. 2 bolts on each side if I recall.

I know exactly where you are talking about cause the body shop had to weld those inner panels on , i told them down there that , and they said the reason it dosent work is cause that roof dosent belong on that car , i would try and do it myself but witch way would you tighten those screws

There are screw adjustments.....ain't hard if the adjuster gives a crap.

Do whate the ass-hats at the ins company want you to do. Keep it there until it's fixed....not like there are any sunny day up there for ahwile.....
