Stone Guards
All,
I detailed the car this weekend and pulled off the stone guards as they were looking rough. Installed a new one last night and they are a bit different in size and layout from the original ones I removed. I now have a new vs. faded paint line that comes and goes on both front and back of the new guard (simply couldn't manipulate the product to form the old layout). Not the end of the world and can live with it if needed but I was curious if the Turbo guards would work, as I would assume they are larger, or if they would be too big and look worse than I have now? Thoughts, as always, appreciated! Chris

If someone has a Turbo with guards, possibly you can measure length at base and the width at 8 inches above the base for me? That would let me know how much larger they are.
Thanks again! Chris

Lot's of those are added on by the owner. Depending on where they were purchased, they vary in size.

The width at the base (where it disappears behind the rubber trim) is 10.5" and the width at 8" up from the base is 5". I'm not sure what you meant by "length at the base" . . .

Ronnie,
Thanks, that works. Someone mentioned to me just buying the Turbo ones and cutting down to fit....sometimes you just need a different prospective to figure something so simple out! Chris
