No. But I've thought of trying something like this by having my Guard's Red ccoupe wrapped in flat black. I called two places in Phoenix (where my car is) but they wanted an arm and a leg. I think the look might be very cool, particularly on a 930, but not for a ton of money. There are some pics somewhere on this forum, hopefully someone more savvy will provide them.

I once read on one of those PD/HP BBS threads that if the car looks like it's in prime you'll get pulled over because the cops will think there must be something wrong with the car somewhere

ie: maybe your lights don't work, maybe there is something wrong with your registration, no insurance, etc

Otherwise I like the idea of a satin black. Low key, doesn't attract attention, etc but still mean if you know what you're looking at.

Maybe it's my old age (38), but I find nothing attractive with this car. It needs some kind of contrast! Maybe chrome rimmed wheels or chrome window trim.

Maybe it contains a killer engine that completely makes up for the lack of beauty, but the single exhaust tip kind of rules that out. So no beauty and no go...

imo the curves and lines of the standard carrera look better in color or gloss. when it gets to the zuffenhaus or rauh-welt styled porsches is when flat paint begins to look better. i wonder what a flat red or blue would look like..

perhaps that board should start a thread on the 4th amendment to clue them in a little. probable cause and all that. DWP = driving while primered.
