1982 SC Dashboard Installation Question, Found Answer!
i am getting ready to install a new dashboard into my 1982 911SC. On the old dashboard their appears to be rubber washer/spacers on the thread studs. The washer/spacer would fit between the dash and metal body frame. I cannot see the part number in the catalog to order extra spacers. On the new dash that I purchase their is one new spacer on one of the studs, the others do not have them.
Has anyone seen this before? Should I reuse the old spacers? Or does someone have the part number? Thanks, Chuck Last edited by mercury26; 01-10-2012 at 06:22 PM.. Reason: Answer Found |

Never mind, I inspected the old and new dash a little more closely. The spacers are part of the foam around the threaded part. The older dash foam had disintegrated enough that they had come loose.
Getting closer to having the new dash installed. ![]() |
