I saw this car tooling down the freeway on my way home from work. I had my camera in my briefcase so I decided to get some shots of it.
Boy, was that driver pi$$ed ! He dodged and weaved through traffic to keep me from taking the pix, but then he thought he'd try to blow by me and I got the best shots as he went by. Anyone have an idea what this is ? It had Mich. plates. ------------------ Tom Sharpes 90 C2 Targa http://members.rennlist.com/myc2 |

I think it's the new Hyundai Tibruon.
There's a thread about this car on the MR2 boards: http://board.mr2pages.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26839&highlight=spy Not 100% convinced, though. -Z. PS: Saw a prototype BMW 7-Series last week. Smooth looking car, but a little plain. ------------------ My toy: http://www.pelicanparts.com/gallery/Z-man [This message has been edited by Z-man (edited 07-26-2001).] |

Tom,
I would think if you were drivin on 75 it could be a Chrysler product. At first glance it looked like a side view of a new mustang but that photo of the hyundai might be it. at least its not the new 911. ------------------ Craig 73T in many pieces |

You should have contacted AUTOWEEK. They might have paid you $50 or so. I have a friend in Colorado. Back in the 70's (maybe today?) the car companies did a lot of "high altitude" smog law compliance testing near his home. He'd pick up spending money submitting photos to various car oriented publications.

The front looks like a Ford, and the back like a Chrysler. A Damler-Jaguar
