Old VW parts any good?
I know a guy locally here. He used to have tons of old VW bugs, vans, Ghias etc. He has a barn with tons of parts in it. He is too old (80s) to do anything with them, I was thinking of going to take a look. Would there be anything of use to me there? (77 2.7) I was thinking of lights, maybe a set of H1s or something, but I don't think any VWs used them.
It is an hour away BTW, otherwise I would go anytime Shawn

Have any VW loving buddies? Not likely you'd find anything you want, but a VW nut probbly would. At the least, sounds like a fun afternoon of just poking around?

Brake pads! I think VW Golf or Fox (Polo in Europe) pads might fit your car. Fitted my '75S anyhow; they were Pagid BTW.

Oh yeah! Points too! Some kind of Beetle version fits a 2.7, Bosche, of course!
