Due to recent hand throttle post, I have a question.
The previous owner said that the hand throttle on my 1970 T no longer worked. I believe he said it just stopped working. My car takes about 3 to 5 minutes to warm up and run. Where does the hand throttle connect to the carbs? It would be good to be able to use the hand throttle when I start the car.

It connects to the throttle rod in the tunnel next to the lever.

Does it just hook to it? Is there something holding it on the rod?

Yeah, there's a plastic piece attached to the bottom of the lever that pulls the throttle cable. It was pictured in that other thread, recently.

As I've discovered recently, the original plastic for that part seems prone to degradation and crumbling away. Best guess is that linkage piece is in pieces in your tunnel.

Thank you kind sirs. I'll seek part 55 and try to get her fixed.
