HELP: Need TWO nuts (big)!!!

Guys/Gals: I bought a set of late model Carrera axles (87-89) for a conversion. When I went to install them I found my early Carrera axle nut(s) are smaller. Can anyone please verify the size of the axle nut (threads on stub axle) size? I believe I found it is either a 20 x 1.5 or 22 x 1.5 (mm)...

Thanks in advance for your assistance. I can't move the car until I get the hubs locked down!!!

Thanks! As I've learned the hard way late Saturday night...Ace, NAPA, etc. do not carry M22 nuts - dead in the water this weekend!

Go for the Porsche axle nut (it's a lock nut) and make sure you have the proper washer.

JFYI - For anyone else looking for the hub bolts...Advance Auto Parts sell Axle bolts with a nice flange for a Mazda Miata. Honestly, I like it better than what I had as the flange is perfectly sized to the recessed area of the hub (for the washer).

I have some but I would need to go ask my wife if I can get them out of her purse. :D

I think you will need to do some serious soul-searching in order to find what you are seeking!
