Center reflector

When I removed the one on my '80SC, I used a thin screwdriver and gently pried on each of the reinforced areas where the mounting studs are attached. By working from stud to stud and only moving each a small amount I was able to get it off undamaged. The reflector on my car was attached by way of metal clips and though the studs were threaded, they did not have nuts on the back side, they were only pressed into place. Be sure to double check your car to be certain it is made the same way.

reflector removal

Fred
Thanks for your insight, mine are same as yours.I will apply some
light oil spray to ease the movement.I thought that was the only way
but concerned about the pressure.Hope to have success.
Much appreciation
Frank
