Anybody try this part for the G-50 ?

What is it, where does it go and on what car?

I was considering the same part for my G50 as well ... seems like there is a lot of looseness in my 23 year old OEM rubber pad !
Was hoping the Coupler Whisperer (Ed) would start fabricating some G50 parts :) Cheers ! Phil |
OK,
bought this part, BIG improvement !! makes me wonder, I got big improvement for basically 20 bucks. What kind of improvement would you get for the with the 300 dollar coupler? it would have to shift itself. I replaced my shifter bushings last year and changed out my fluid twice,Mobil One/Redline still was not really happy with my shifting, first kinda iffy depending on speed and how I wiggled the shifter. Now...not only is first good, the basic feel of the shifter is more precise .No cabin noise or vibration at all. I'd go so far as to say, you replace your shifter bushings and install this coupler you would have a perfect shifting car,or as good as a G-50 gets! I cannot believe there is not more out there on this, especially for the price. |
Did a search on "950.424.227.01" and polyurethane and nothing comes up.
So who is making this and where is it available at? |
Wayne,
Wevo makes it ... considering chuckr's comments i'm going to order one for my 89 G50 ! Go on Wevo's website,Pelican doesn't carry it ... yet ... Cheers ! Phil |

My car is an 88 judging by the age, the rubber factory part has got to be worn. I'm very impressed with the feel of the shifter! I'd be interested in somebody else opinion on this. All I can say is my car has never shifted this good. |
