Front window frames
 

How do I take the window frames from the door ?
First do I need to disassemble the window regulator mechanism ?
Or this mechanism stays in place with the window glass ?

Window frames in door are held in by allen head screws. 2 rubber plugs cover them at front & rear of door and after removing door panel 2 more will be visible. Frames are held together by very small screws. Take care not bend anything if you take them apart.
Lower window before you start. No need to remove window mechanism.

Also there are screws up inside that anchor the verticle portion of what would be the moveable vent on older cars and the triangular glass that can't be opened. I believe there is an "L" shaped bracket that comes out from there also. It's been a long time since I've done that, but if you look you will see.
